This position supports and provides department level oversight to all DCF’s programs, has significant interaction with the agency Secretary and senior department leadership; and is  considered a part of the department’s management team. The position’s primary duties relate to applying a multi-disciplinary approach to policy development using social, economic, environmental, and technology inputs, as appropriate, to analyze, establish, and implement both department and OIG policies. This position develops policies and processes based upon the work of their team. The Program and Policy Chief will oversee and supervise a team composed of policy analysts tasked with conducting reviews and evaluations, performing quality assurance, monitoring and technical assistance, analyzing data, generating reports, drafting option and issue papers related to DCF programs and business areas.
