The Institute in Critical Quantitative, Computational, and Mixed Methodologies (ICQCM) welcomes applications from full time faculty members, postdoctoral fellows, or career research scientists (with conferred doctorates) who are interested in expanding their knowledge and use of critical data science techniques. Applicants may apply to the:

  • National Science Foundation QCM Scholars program for STEM researchers in quantitative, computational, and mixed-methods analysis.
  • William T. Grant Foundation AQC Scholars program for advanced quantitative and computational methods related to the wellbeing of youth, ages 5 to 25, and the institutions that serve them.

This opportunity includes two years of data science training in virtual and in-person formats, one-on-one coaching, access to the ICQCM Knowledge Repository, and most notably, a critical approach to data science that emphasizes it’s potential to address issues relevant to Latina/o/x, Indigenous, and Black/African American researchers, higher education institutions, and communities.

To apply and for more information about these programs, visit www.ICQCM.org. Please circulate this email and the attached advertisements to individuals who you believe would be interested in critical data science.
