Research Specialist - Program Evaluation (PVL #88088)


Join the dynamic Evaluation Research team as a Research Specialist for Program Evaluation. The Evaluation Research Group works in partnership with community, tribal, university, and governmental organizations through the development, implementation, and evaluation stages of their programs. 


This position assists in evaluation research and applied research in a wide variety of population health-related areas, particularly adolescent mental health, substance use, and/or public health. The position will support implementation of evaluation plans and studies, including data collection, data management, basic analyses and report preparations, and providing technical assistance to programs for continuous quality improvement. They will work with the team in development of interim and final evaluation reports, presentations to key stakeholders, and publications based on findings.

Evaluation Research Scientist (PVL #87853)


Seeking an Evaluation Research Scientist to join a dynamic team. The Evaluation Research Group works in partnership with community, tribal, university, and governmental organizations through the development, implementation, and evaluation stages of their programs. The evaluation unit of the UW Population Health Institute has an extensive history and current portfolio of evaluation research projects. Two of these projects involve evaluation research regarding collaborative science programs - the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) and the Center for Predictive Computational Phenotyping (CPCP). 


This position will conduct evaluation research focusing on these programs of team science and the development and application of scientific knowledge to the broad areas of clinical and translational bio-medical research represented by the work of CPCP and ICTR. The scientist will collaborate with UWPHI and ICTR evaluators and with affiliated faculty to plan and implement evaluation studies regarding implementation and effectiveness of big data and clinical-translational research in bio-medical settings of the ICTR and CPCP programs. This will include development and implementation of ongoing evaluation and accountability systems, development and analysis of surveys and data bases, and in-depth evaluation research on the synergistic impact of these programs of interdisciplinary team science.
