Excited to be a part of a guiding conversation to shape evaluation practice in Wisconsin? Join ¡Milwaukee Evaluation! for a"data party" to help interpret data around Wisconsin evaluation practices.

¡Milwaukee Evaluation! Inc. invites you to engage in our vision for real social justice. Last year, we created and distributed our culturally responsive evaluation (CRE) survey to understand when, how and if CRE is used, what factors facilitate its use or non-use, and its effect on the evaluation process. We presented initial results earlier this year. Now, as we draft a written report, we want to engage evaluators to co-create meaning from the data and provide recommendations. This report will be a springboard to influence evaluation practices in Wisconsin in the coming years.

We invite anyone who conducts evaluative work to attend a two- hour session in Madison or Milwaukee. Sessions will be facilitated by Troy Williams and the main activity in each session is small group interaction with and interpretation of the CRE data to identify recommendations for evaluation practices. We'll also provide snacks and coffee.

The two events will be held November 30:

  • Madison: 10-12, UW-Madison Educational Sciences Building Room 253, 1025 W Johnson St.
  • Milwaukee: 3-5, Washington Park Library, 2121 N. Sherman Blvd.

Register for either event by November 27 by clicking this link.

The report will be shared with participants and the wider Wisconsin evaluation community. We hope that you’ll engage in this deeper dive into culturally responsive evaluation to authentically benefit the communities we all belong to and engage in.
