Join us for coffee, wine, and beer specials - and meet your fellow evaluators and evaluation students before the annual AEA conference in Atlanta.

Meet your host member:

Eric Hagedorn first became involved in evaluation while working on his PhD in Urban Education at UW Milwaukee in 1998. Over the next 18 years, Eric evaluated a broad range of educational activities, mostly related to STEM education, but also public health (tobacco cessation), employee training (VA Staff retirement training), financial education (K-12), child resilience, and a K-8 school focusing on business and entrepreneurship.  Eric has evaluated projects supported by the National Science Foundation, NASA, the U.S. Dept. of Education, NIH, the Howard Hughes Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Defense.  While Eric’s work usually focuses on quantitative analyses (descriptive & inferential statistics, multivariate analyses, and item response theory), he has experience conducting and analyzing interviews, focus groups, and open ended surveys.  He started Hagedorn Evaluation Services in 2002.  Eric’s wife of 25 years, Margaret lives with him and their youngest child in Milwaukee.  Their older children have been requested to provide grandchildren as soon as convenient.
